THE MAKERS & THE PRODUCTS
Sant Tirs (ES)
Miquel Romeu and his wife Enriqueta Ferreres started this in 1985. They fell in love with the artisan wafers they tasted on trips to Pla de Sant Tirs. So they bought the old workshop and made it their own. They modernised the process but kept the craft alive.

Michele Perinotti comes from a family with five generations of rice growers. He founded the company in the late 1990s. They named it after the heron to honour careful farming in the Piedmont rice fields. Today they produce premium rice in Vercelli with real respect for tradition and nature.
