Indigo (藍色) — Regina Lund
An evening around colour, intensity and interpretation.
Regina Lund presents Indigo (藍色) — a selection of works built around a singular visual direction.
About Regina Lund
Regina Lund is a Swedish artist, actress and musician with a long-standing multidisciplinary practice.
She has worked across theatre, film and television for decades, alongside releasing music and developing her visual art. Her work moves between performance, sound and image, often connecting these formats.
Art practice
Her paintings are primarily non-figurative, sometimes incorporating text, lyrics and fragments of speech.
The work draws from personal themes — emotion, identity, nature and inner states — translated into colour, gesture and composition.
Context
This exhibition is part of an ongoing body of work, with previous series exploring themes such as space, peace, nature and perception.
Painting and music often exist in parallel — sometimes the visual work comes first, sometimes the sound.
Material
Most works are acrylic on canvas, varying in scale.
The paintings combine colour intensity with layered references from her broader artistic practice.
Event details
Date: 18 April
Time: 17:00
Location: GRAINED, Hantverkargatan 47, Stockholm
About the exhibition
The exhibition moves around a specific colour space — deep blue.
References range from Yves Klein to Japanese traditions, where indigo holds both cultural and material significance.
Two directions
From one side:
Colour as saturation. Repetition. Visual impact.
From another:
A quieter connection to Japanese indigo — material, process and history.
Context at GRAINED
The exhibition sits within the space as part of a broader selection — food, objects and temporary formats.
Not separate, but in dialogue.
